SOSO! ™ Air Racing's Status 2008 There are currently no bonafied Closed Course Pylon Races in the United States at this time. The "Reno" event remains a fake, a fraud, a lie, a farce, and now, one of the most dangerous motorsporting events in the World based on the Event organizer's failures in Safety and Accident Prevention at the event. Three dead at the event in 2007. One dead immediately following the event. A Class President dead in a non-Air Racing accident. Four veterans, one rookie, none benefitting from Houghton's "Pylon Racing Seminar," or "Rookie School," because that "training" is as bogus as a three-dollar bill. Truly, what is being learned at Michael "Mickey Da Rat" Houghton's "Rookie School!?" Not a DAMNED thing, other than the beer is warm, the pizza is cold and so are the bodies that are piling up like stacked wood in a cord! The only good news in 2008 is that a new start-up will occur at Oklahoma City in October, featuring the International Formula One racers (IF1) of the new Pylon Racing Pilots Association (PRPA), which has established its first event in conjunction with the Czech Festival, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. And needless to say, the owner and operator of the new event will never kiss Mike Houghton's ring or a$$, and is more likely to kick Houghton's worthless a$$ should the "Midget Mob Boss of Reno Stead" get in his way, looking for a hand out! Organizer of the new event is IF1's own Ray Sherwood, who was unlawfully ousted as President of IF1 in 2005 via the manipulations of Michael "Mickey Da Rat" Houghton of the corrupt "Reno Air Racing Association (RARA)," and former IF1 racer Birch Entriken, who attempted to tag Sherwood with responsibility for the death of one of his crew at another racing event in Oklahoma City, despite the fact the fatality occurred as a result of Entriken's crew responding to an accident on the field, a well-publicized violation of Safety Rules in Air Racing across the board. The fatal injury occurred when a crewman fell from Entriken's vehicle while responding to the accident scene without authority or approval. The crewman hit his head on the airport's concrete and died at the scene of head injuries. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. Birch Entriken, Gary Dalleske and David Hoover, all part of the IF1 board that ousted Sherwood, have sold their racers and have resigned from IF1, this after reports that Michael J. "Mickey Da Rat" Houghton will cancel IF1 this year at Stead, in order to give moneys to the Unlimited Class, whom he insulted by attempting to deny the Unlimiteds major portions of their purse at the 2007 "Reno National Championship Invitational for Entertainment Only Air Racing Event," a foolish move that brought about the threat of boycott by the Unlimiteds, which would of course mean, the end of the fake Air Races at Stead. More importantly, it would mean no money for Houghton or his cronies and their Thugs, which is an event that is going to occur anyway since Houghton has personally aided and abetted the Airport Authority of Washoe County (AAWC) in their attempts to shut down the races. As it is, we are still investigating a rumor that two members of the RARA (Rhymes with "HA HA") Board have received bonuses totaling, if not exceeding, one million dollars, and there are other members on the Board who would have also received substantial bonuses as a result, moneys that may or may not be getting declared on IRS Tax Forms, which RARA and Jones Vargas are annually denying this publication and its Publisher/Editor access to, in violation of Federal and State Tax Laws involving Non-profit Coprorate operations. Mr. Rat (Houghton), Ms. Valerie Enos (Public Relations & Marketing), Tom Gribbin (Board of Directors, RARA, Board of Trustees, AAWC, President and Board of Directors, RARF), Wayne Sagar (AAFO.Com) and James Richard Campbell (Aero-News.Net) ~ the latter two fake "journalists" operating as Agents and Vectors of RARA in Sagar's case and RARA along with the Rocket Racing League (RRL) in Campbell's case ~ are all implicated in a Federal Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organization's Act (RICO) and Civil Rights case filed by the Publisher of ILIPS Group International, owner and operator of The Home Pylon Group of publications at www.thehomepylon.com, www.thehomepylon.net, and www.thehomepylon.org (Not yet operational). Aviation & Marine USA and Silver State News Service, among others, based on verbal, written and documented reports and evidence that all the above had been involved in threatening Air Racer Ron Buccarelli and his crew that if they continued to have anything to do with Publisher Mark S. "Bear" Daniels, they would be bannished from the "Reno" event. This produced multiple Civil Rights violations and automatic RICO charges due to the use of threats, intimidation, coercion and harassment, directed by multiple businesses against another for doing business with a third and for having "association with" and giving "credibility in Air Racing to" an established Journalist of over 35 years, who has covered Air Racing since June, 1976, and been published all over the World as a direct result. This is not the most disturbing news of the past year. Mickey Da Rat's event has killed another three pilots within days of each other, and one additional pilot has died following the races, including collective during-post racing, two pilots who may have been flying aircraft too enhanced for their experience, one of them described as a "rookie;" along with a veteranJet Class pilot; and the veteran, five-time National Champion in IF1. Dead are pilots Steve Dari, in the National Championship winning, Rose-Perigrine Sport Biplane, formerly known as "Rags;" Brad Morehouse in the L-39 Albatros, which crashed and enveloped the Home Pylon judging and timing area in smoke and flame when the aircraft exploded on impact; and Gary Hubler, who collided with Jason Somes, flying Race 4, Alley Cat, the former Owl Racer "Lil' Quickie," Race 71. Hubler was killed instantly when his aircraft impacted the desert. Somes was injured and had minor surgery to his eye, due to debris encountered as a result of the collision. Two Pylon Judges were injured on the ground, one refusing treatment. A third pilot's aircraft was reportedly damaged by debris from the collision. Somes retired from Air Racing immediately after the accident. After the Air Races had ended, "rookie" pilot Pat Gleason was killed in the IF1 known as Barbara Jean 2, a gorgeous Kevin Kelly design, with witnesses on the ground indicating pilot error as the likely cause. We are still attempting to determine if Gleason had yet been trained at Houghton's greed-motivated Pylon Racing Seminar (PRS), which is a farce and travesty when it comes to issues of Safety, charges pilots illegally for time, training and experience on the course, and remains heavily criticized for its concern over intake of "profit, beer and pizza" rather than output and excellence in areas of Air Racing Safety. In February, 2007, Sport Biplane Class President Steve Brown, was killed in a non-Air Racing accident in the Sierras, while performing aerobatics in a Pitts S2 Biplane. A horrible year for Air Racing overall. John Parker barely escaped a fiery death prior to the Air Races when his Thunder Mustang TM-1, "Blue Thunder," went off the runway during takeoff, then caught fire when the brakes overheated and started a brush fire beneath the aircraft, which was to heavy to move from the sand and sage, with no CFR equipment being on site at Stead to assist him by putting out the flames. The aircraft was gutted. Beyond these safety issues, Pilot Ron Buccarelli was the center of further controversy after making First Amendment-protected statements to a Journalist from the Reno-Gazette Journal. Houghton immediately retaliated against Buccarelli by banishing him from further Air Racing and refusing to pay his winnings/dues up to the moment of banishment. The rat-clawed Houghton later apologized and shook Buccarelli's hand after the event ~ helluva thing, having to shake hands with that smelly Rat ( ! ) ~ indicating that Buccarelli would be paid, however, Ron has retired from Air Racing, put his exotic racer, Precious Metal, Race 38, a Griffon-powered Mustang, up for sale... ...and the Unlimiteds, who were also denied their pay for "off-time" caused by Houghton's ridiculously unsafe races this year, threatened boycott... ...and now Houghton is apparently reeling and responding to the threat with a promise of increased purse. The purse, however, will be stolen entirely from IF1, which already suffered the loss of a portion of their purse to Sport Biplane, but more importantly, to the Reno Balloon Air Races, with Houghton and his Board's "unanticipated expenses fund" taking one half the monies they embezzled from IF1 to sponsor the 2007 Great Reno Balloon Races, which frankly we must admit, are more exciting than Houghton's event and more deserving of the entire purse and effort than the "BS" (Balloon Subserviant) "Reno National Championship Invitational For Entertainment Only, Air Race Nazi, Good Ol' Boy Rich Environment, Ask Joey and he will Show You his 'Tri- Tip' Air Races" complete with "Thug's Dog & Pony Show!" ...this according to our reports so far. I mean, we at ILIPS can pressure Houghton with more than enough of the bad publicity he deserves, but when the IF1 Board of Directors rolls over to the guy because they're in his pocket ~ to the point they all sell their aircraft because they know he's about to cancel IF1 racing forever at Reno, quit IF1 and go on their merry way, hey ( ! ) ~ what's a Publisher to do!? Frankly, in regards to the destruction of the IF1 ranks at Reno by Houghton and his cronies formerly in IF1 (one is still attempting to sell his aircraft; there are buyers, so the rest of you in IF1, don't despair!), there's not enough there in the way of IF1's purse that should be satisfying to the Unlimiteds ~ except, maybe, for "PIG Pilot" and his General Motors "Viagra Cat" (There's a sponsor for you, the only "Limp Iron" racer in the Heavy Iron ranks needing Viagra...) ~ therefore, we at ILIPS Group International hope the pressure we put on Mickey Da Rat in regards to our reporting of his injustices and "Indecent Proposal-style" rolling in other people's money bed forces him to change his mind and include the IF1s this year, restoring their pay, and reducing the fabled bonuses (@ $1,000,000 for two people alone ~ Devil knows what the rest of the Board of Defectives at RARA received...) reportedly being received by himself and others on the RARA Board, in order to pay the Teams and the Pilots P-R-O-P-E-R-L-Y !!! Included among those previously mentioned "injustices," confirmation that the "Saturday Night Style Massacre" of the female office staff members of RARA, was based on Sexual Harassment charges directed against Houghton and Joey "Da Tri Tip" Scolari, which were responded to by "Entertainment Mogul" Houghton with one of the cheapest, tackiest, most clichéd but effective threats ever lodged against women and single mothers in particular, by a Mogul in the "Entertainment Industry:" "You'll never work in this town again!" In the history of "Entertainment," let alone, "Air Racing as Entertainment," the only person ever to deserve the end-effect of such a low-life, cowardly, yellow, prissy-little-school-girl threat (as delivered by an alleged "man"), is the raunchy, filthy mouth (because you don't know where it's been, unless you're me and have heard the complaints of witnesses...) that utters such trashy, Machiavellian expressions. Remembering, of course, that Machiavelli was an individual who advised an Italian Prince centuries ago, of the assumption that the Prince had the assumed right to torture a few others in order to maintain control of his "Royal Neighborhood," in order to accomplish the good works he could do for a majority of others. Or, in other words: "The ends justifies the means..." The Prince and the People both, rejected his advise as unconscienable. American Politicians, Generals, Attorneys, and Businessmen to this day ~ beyond the Milquetoast Mike Houghton ~ practice this concept to this day. And what is the current RARA Board of Directors made up of, but "American Politicans, Generals, Attorneys and Businessmen! Oh, excpet ~ this time around ~ women on the Board of RARA Directors, like Susan Fischer, of Sierra Pacific Power, also support Mike and Joey Butabi's right to sexually harass the women on their Office Staff, along with Keno Girls down at the Hilton Pylon Bar, which in regards to one of the greatest forms of Poetic Justice ever accomplished in Air Racing to date, abolished, dismantled and closed, by the new owners of the former Reno Hilton! THERE IS A GOD!!! <GGG> Good family men, everywhere, REJOICE!!! As for all women currently working for or with Mickey Da Rat, Joey Da Tri Tip and RARA, including volunteers... ...you should ALL hang their heads in SHAME! ILIPS Group International is thinking "FLO-MAX" for the so-called "men" of that sexist, racist, (non-) officer-and-gentlemen "challenged" organization, along with Sex Offender registration for Scolari and those aiding and abetting his crimes and those of the Owners & Managers of Scolari Warehouse Markets, Inc., of EEOC vs Scolari Warehouse Markets Inc., fame. FYI for those "Inquiring Minds..." ...FLO-MAX is not a Nasal Spray (That's FLO-NASE ~ Ed.), it's the Federal Penitentiary in Florence, Colorado, that cuts off almost all contact between the outside World ~ including with family members ~ and the Maxium Security prisoners within, like the late David McVeigh, high-level Al Qaida operatives and associated Shoe/Dirty Bombers, and real-world "geniuses-slant/morons" like the "Unibomber," Ted Kacinzky, who none the less, are head-over-heels "upstanding citizens all" in contrast to Houghton, his Board of Directors, their Thugs and Flunkies, who have all taken over at the former "Reno National Championship Air Races," even going as far as to oust the legitimate and good volunteers who formerly worked for that "organization," in order to enjoy the perks and bennies that come with giving oral sex to Mike Houghton's ego and vanity (a.k.a. "penis, buttocks," respectively ~ Ed.). Now, in regards to Houghton and his disdain for what we publish here at ILIPS, RARA has reportedly refrained from the posting of "Wanted ~ Deal or Alive Posters" of Publisher/Editor Mark S. "Bear" Daniels," in exchange for the more concealable, apparently-deemed-politically-correct, "Mug Shots." They have also threatened directly and indirectly, our supporting photographers, forcing one to quit in justifiable fear. None of us at ILIPS bear any ill will or grievance towards or against this individual, simply because, we understand perfectly the risk to him, his loved ones, family and friends. Reporters around the World face death and injury on a daily basis, with the leading cause of their murder not being "War Correspondence," but rather, "fighting corruption" (Source: Reporters Without Borders ~ Ed.) Also, and we are still investigating this newest issue, however, in the latest act of Racketeering and Civil Rights violations ~ en masse, we might add ~ it would appear that Houghton, RARA, Reno P.D. and the Washoe County Health Department, conspired to violate the Civil Rights of thousands, perhaps over 10,000, by banishing people from the "Valley of Speed" viewing areas in 2007, based on allegations that a woman bared her lower torso and took a dump in the Valley of Speed for lack of restroom facilities and/or trees, bushes. The complaint was reportedly filed by a resident living along the Valley of Speed, however, we have our doubts based on the preponderence of evidence against Houghton, RARA, Reno P.D. and Washoe County in particular, for conspiracy issues involving Racketeering previously, in our case and in others. Any which way you look at it, as many as 10,000 or more people were denied their First Amendment Right to "Peaceably Assemble," after being deported by the Air Race Nazis, their Agents and Vectors, in what is apparently the worst violation of the Constitution and Civil Rights by the evil, snickering, Micket Da Rat and RARA's Board of Defectives, in the history of Air Racing. All 98+ years so far... ...so bad, that compared to conduct directed against a certain Publisher and Editor, the action taken against the "Ten Thousand" in contrast to those actions taken against this one, measely, Publisher and Editor, basically equate in contrast to audaciously submitting to the P&E's charges, pleading guilty, paying the fines, going to prison, being bitch-slapped and sodomized by their cellmates en masse, then turning around and electing said P&E the "Air Race Queen" while getting down on their hands and knees and paying him Olympian-style homages not seen since the Greek poets wrote of "Zeus!" (Note: Or in simpler words, compared to what they did to the folks in the Valley of Speed, they haven't laid a glove on me, but rather, have unexpectedly put me on a pedastal to dance around me like they would the "Golden Calf!" God! I love Air Racing! <g> Never a dull moment...and then, there's still the "Jungle Juice" down at the Warlock party! <ggg> ~ Ed.) Anticipate a Class Action lawsuit in Federal Court shortly...those wishing to have their names added to said Class Action, which merely requires numbers of 100 or more (Group Action lawsuit is 100 or less...), merely need to contact this Publisher & Editor at: ...to have their names included in the action, which will be Racketeering and Civil Rights based. Once more than 100 signatures have been gathered, the matter will be taken to a Class Action Attorney for serious consideration. The Attorney will need to be able to contact you, so include "point of contact" information, which will be forwarded to the Attorney. We do not Spam here. It's more fun to pick on Houghton and his worthless Thugs and a$$-kissers! <GGG> The potential for a second Class Action lawsuit is also real, based on fraud directed against the paying fans of Air Racing by Houghton and the Thugs at RARA. Based on recently published rules, which we've monitored and copied verbatim over the past five years, the "Reno National Championship Air Races" are a fraud for which the People should receive their money back, in the opine of this Publisher & Editor, along with his Aviation News and State News publications. Therefore, anyone interest in getting their money back for the fraud that constitutes the "Reno National Championship Air Races," please contact the Publisher and Editor with said "point of contact" information at: ...to have their names included in the action, which will be Racketeering and Civil Rights based. Once more than 100 signatures have been gathered, the matter will be taken to a Class Action Attorney for serious consideration. The Publisher and Editor Estimates that in excess of two million people have been defrauded of their hard-earned moneys during Houghton's tenure, not including sponsors, corporate sponsors, vendors, advertisers and other associated businesses, therefore... ...we anticipate no problem in obtaining the 100 signatures necessary for initiating a Class Action Lawsuit. All this in addition to the Land Fraud, Waste and Abuse, the Publisher and Editor of ILIPS Group International is alleging against the AAWC and RARA, along with the FAA of the U.S. Federal Government ~ and shortly, other Federal agencies ~ in regards to the current status of land at Stead Airport, Nevada, and other "Airport Properties" being siphoned-off by Krys Bart, Houghton, "Kingpin" Raggio, Jones Vargas and the AAWC/RARA, which we consider all one and the same "RICO" organization, especially when combined with the Reno Sparks Convention and Visitor's Authority (RSCVA), among other local and State agencies and entities in Nevada and elsewhere (i.e., their associates in Mississippi, Virginia and Las Vegas, for example. Getting curious!? Stay tuned to Silver State News! ~ Ed.). Air Racing still maintains a bright future if anyone in the Sport is willing to fight for their Sport. Bob Avery still has the Las Vegas Air Races in the planning stages, with delays in the development of the new Cargo facility and Airport at Mesquite, Nevada, being the only "setback" to report, other than Blayne Slagar attempting to "hedge his bets" by running their website. Blayne, of course, is Houghton's "Inside Man" in Las Vegas, to no avail, since he doesn't live in Las Vegas and there is a virtual "Mongol Hoarde" of Webmasters out there just waiting to take over...ANYTHING, let alone...Blayne's pitiful operation. Blayne turned stalkier than ever this year, harassing a noted Photojournalist (other than I ~ Ed.) in the biz and a remarkably independent and cavalier Sport Biplane pilot with an extraordinary following that matches her "Extreme" sense of humor and ability to bond with "Boyz!" ...another thing for Blayne to be jealous of! A woman that can male bond when he can't! Mesquite also has a new Mayor and her position on the development of Air Races at Mesquite must be invited and explored. We are hoping for and predicting the best, especially since Mesquite finds itself in reach of the populations of three States, including Nevada, where Mesquie sits, and neighboring Arizona and Utah. The best of many World's, Mesquite sits in a locale that can be protected from encroachment at the outset due to more modern planning methods and lessons learned (from the mistakes made by the Idiots in planning at the AAWC, no doubt!~ Ed.) , plus one of the proposals for the location of the new cargo facility being a form of "natural protection" against encroachment by "outside predators" (anything that thinks the sound of a thousand 747 cargo frieghters ~ all landing or taking off at the same time at the beginning of or end of night ~ is anything other than the "Sound of Freedom!" and would complain about cracks in the walls from the same...<g> ~ Ed.). Air Race fanatics might want to consider new alternatives in housing, i.e., a return to the old Native American concept of "Cliff Dwelling," alá Mesa Verde, Colorado. Much easier to spot, pounce on, kill and eat an "Air Race Nazi" when you can see them coming ~ from altitude, like a Bird of Prey ~ then to have to deal with them while parking your aircraft or your chair along the hot ramp at a place like, oh, Stead Airport, Nevada! How cool to be at eye level with competing Unlimited Class racing planes, let alone, living in the Pylon! <G> I just love talking cryptically! <GGG> More to come! Stay tuned to Silver State News! Ray Sherwood's new PRPA has the new Oklahoma City Air Race on tap for this Fall, and two other events approaching fruition elsewhere in the United States, with other venues to be discussed and explored shortly. Attempts by Houghton to monopolize Air Racing appear to be failing ~ frankly, "FAILED!" ~ and the "Reno National Championship Invitational For Entertainment Only Air Races, Good Ol' Boy and Air Race Nazi Fest," are on their way out ~ days numbered ~ and surprisingly, the number of Air Race pilots wishing to see the event gone from Reno and into oblivion is increasing! Most know that Air Racing will not die nationally or internationally, just in Reno, the "Biggest Little Stupidest City in the World Represented by the State Senate Repist Majority Leader William ' The Kingpin ' Raggio!" Fortunately, due to old age and the butt-ugly (also known as oogly, in Scotland...Ed.) photographs seen at the new Jones Vargas Law Firm website, at: www (why why why!?) .unlimitednumbersofshystera$$holes.com ...Raggio's days appear numbered, too! Nevada Democrats are reportedly breathless in anticipation (Even liberal independents, such as myself, need no less than fifty oxygen tanks per month around the house ~ Ed.), knowing soon, that they can rename the "Reno ~ Ta ~ Ho" (emphasis on the "Ho," without apologies to Imus, Rutgers Women's Athletic Sports or the so-called "Men" on the AAWC Board of Trustees ~ Ed.) airport once again for Senator Howard Cannon, before moving the expensive "William Raggio Memorial Erection" from the hallways of the current terminal, where it can be moved to the men's restroom for more appropriate uses involving sanitary facilities, running water, and guys immitating "Cherubs" standing over a pool/fool... The "Pi$$ on Raggio" Contest Committee is also reportedly accepting offers of prizes to be distributed to the most creative "Cherubs" traveling through Howard Cannon International Airport, Reno, Nevada, along with those merely traveling to the airport to specifically visit the men's restroom, to express their First Amendment Civil Right to Freedom (Pee-dom?) of Speech. And/or "Oral Communications," considering the Senator's big mouth, legendary, "pouty" lips, and "come hither" expression... For the record, Sexual Harassment of a State Senator's "Statue" is reportedly not prohibited by Law...provided one utilize's their hands to hold the Senator's statue's head with respect and reverence during the deed... ...said "respect and reverence" being shown to all whom the State Senate Rapist Majority Leader and his friends (Houghton, Scolari, et al...) have Sexually Harassed and/or "Raped" and/or Attempted to Rape and/or "Sexually Trafficked" and/or attempted to "Sexually Traffick" through, or worse... ...delivered clichéd, singles bar "one liners" on in the course of the victims' (plural) employment ~ in strictest and most contemptful violation of State and Federal Laws combined, along with Ethics, Morals, Values and Standards of Conduct, expressly prohibited by all that is Humane and Decent (!!!), including multiple works reported to have been devined by God... ...while one is committing the First Amendment-protected er, "statement," in the "face of Raggio" and through those pouty lips, which we must warn you, might be squirting water at you during the deed...or worse. ...the use of which is expected to be "high" in terms of frequency and repeat ("Sloppy Seconds") visitors. Wear a "raincoat," in other words, figuratively and literally speaking. In fact, the rumor is in the works ~ we have not yet fully confirmed it as it's still in the writing stage (Coming soon! Air Racing began in Rheims, France, in August, 1909, in what is believed to be to date, the most epic, grand, elegant and colorful event, ever to have occurred in Air Racing, let alone, Aerospace. Now, think about that ~ an event that eclipses the Paris Air Show, the later an event that operates at present, every two years... Rheims offered "Le Grand Semaine d'Aviation de la Champagne!" Airplanes, Air Racing, World Recognized Records, Enormous Crowds, Sponsors offering obscene amounts of money "hand-over-fist" (as opposed to being "fisted" by Mickey Da Rat ~ Ed.) the Nation's President to Honor You... ...and Champagne! Just remember that the next time you go for Mickey Da Rat's "Beer, Pizza and BLOOD" at Reno, all you "Reno Air Racers" out there! Remember: Let me assure you ALL ( ! ), you'll do better at Chuck E. Cheeze, plus it will cost you less, the wife and the kids will be happier, and you can sell the stuff you win at Skee-ball for a greater purse than the Air Race Nazis can muster via their shakedowns of the participants on the ramp or in the Vendor's boothes at Stead. AND...nobody dies at Chuck E. Cheese. The Rat there is trained in giving you Mouth-to-Mouth recessitation, not vice-versa, with the employees and "invited guests" forced to give it to him., and in regards to the latter, not always on the mouth... If the answer is "yes," you must not be faux racing at Reno! ~~~~~~~~~~ Air Racing's Status 2007: There are currently no bonafied Closed Course Pylon Races in the United States at this time. The so-called, self-proclaimed, "Reno National Championship Air Races" are not a real air racing event, are in fact, "invitational" in nature, designated by the Event Operators as "Entertainment" and not proper Sports, Sporting Events, or Motorsports/Motorsporting Events. Further, the so-called Reno National Championship Air Races are run by Racketeers and Thugs, are involved in Fraud and Civil Rights violations, operate fixed races and are therefore not qualified to be an Air Race, let alone, a "National Championship Air Race." The facade known as the "Reno Air Racing Association" is a dangerous entitly known for its unsafe procedures, safety violations, resulting accidents, political interference in the leadership and membership of racing classes ~ to which RARA does not belong ~ harassment of racers, team members, fans and sponsors, and discrimination against veterans and disabled veterans. Furthermore, RARA's current leadership has been involved in serious criminal misconduct involving fraud and laund fraud, intimidation, coercion, harassment, threats, false arrest, perjury, bribery, First Amendment and other Civil Rights violations directed against the legitimate Press, and other activities up to and including attempted murder. Finally, both the RARA and the Airport Authority of Washoe County (AAWC) have announced publicly, the pending shut-down of the so-called "Reno Air Races" in the near future. ILIPS Group and its publications strongly advise boycott of any further RARA-sponsored and/or related events, to include Rocket Racing League (RRL) Events of Dr. Peter H. Diamandis and Granger Whitelaw of the RRL. RARA is a co-sponsor of RRL events and proposes a National Championship for Rocket Racing, however, the RRL have included among their list of pilots one Mr. James R. "Captain Zoom" Campbell, whom ILIPS Group feels is a danger to himself and others and further, has himself made false claims of status (a.k.a. "Stolen Glory") as a Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart (Wounded in Action) Vietnam Veteran and presence in Vietnam at the My Lai Massacre, self-proclaimed "knowledge" of which serves as the foundation for the outlandish charge make by Campbell that he has been followed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and watched for what he knows. The RRL has refused to respond to complaints about Mr. Campbell and stonewalls the issues of his fraudulent claims of service in Vietnam, with the intent of glorifying him at their RRL events in Las Cruces, New Mexico, scheduled for the Fall of 2007, and at the so-called "Reno Air Races," which will likely have an RRL presence this September, 2007, and following September, 2008. Beyond that, ILIPS Group considers the RRL Events to be fraudulent in their marketing and proposed presentation, non-Sporting and non_Motorsporting Events, run as "Entertainment," as well as in general, a waste of time, aircraft, fuel, pilots and the potential race fan's hard-earned money. Closed Course Air Racing is available in the United States at a number of venues, most prominently, the EAA AirVenture Cup Race held in conjunction with the Experimental Aircraft Association's (EAA) AirVenture Air Show, which attracts anywhere between 750,000 and 1,000,000 people annually, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Closed Course Pylon Racing is only available in England and France at this time and involves European Formula One Events. Cross Country Air Racing, including the King's Cup, are also available in England, France, Germany and elsewhere around the World. Seaplane Racing, under the banner of the Schneider Cup, has returned to the Closed Course in Italy, utilizing at present, Microlight aircraft. Closed Course U.S. Air Racing events are currently being scheduled for 2008 and beyond, in Oklahoma City and Las Vegas, minimum. |

26, 2007 One Small Victory... Complaint Against Houghton Upheld by Washoe County Sheriff Law and Principle are Upheld...Nevada Youth Protected by Their Sheriff in the Process. A complaint filed by Silver State News Editor Mark S. "Bear" Daniels against Michael J. Houghton, President & CEO of the Reno National Championship "Invitationals," has been upheld by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office and Assigned a Permanent Case Number. The case involved Houghton repeatedly riding an All Terrain, Four-wheel drive vehicle (ATV quadroped) on the ramp at Reno Stead Airport, Nevada, without mandatory helmet and protective gear as required by Nevada State Law. The specific case involves an incident occurring in the June, 2006, time frame and also involved the charge of speeding on an Airport environment, beyond the speed limit that is usually fifteen miles per hour. (Editor's note: during my time on Stead, I have been guilty of, sternly and appropriately advised by no less than the Airport Manager. in regards to my own incident involving excess speed...how strange that Mr. Houghton wasn't so advised, despite his repeated, observed and photographed, guilt. FYI ~ Without hesitation, I "owed up" to the complaint made against me ~ confirming that what was said against me was true ~ and did not repeat the infraction. The fault was mine. There was nothing to argue...) Though a thumbnail of Mr. Houghton's misconduct beyond other serious criminal activities, the complaint is important in that Houghton set a bad example for teens and other children during the Reno National Championship "Invitational" Air Races that should not and obviously could not be tolerated. Houghton continually flaunted himself on the ramp riding his ATV without the protective gear mandated by Law. Further, Houghton conducted himself in this manner in front of other Adults and Law Enforcement agencies, and of primary concern to this Publications Group, is that many of those Adults had their families ~ including teens and small children ~ with them at the time. Mr. Houghton's conduct showed that Mr. Houghton considers himself as being "Above the Law" or riding in defiance of a Law that is not only for the protection of those same Adults and others, but also established for the protection of their children, teens and young adult family members. Thousands of teens and children in the Washoe County area, along with neighboring counties and out of State visitors, ride the hills and trails in and around Reno-Stead Airport grounds every year, including, during the National Championship "Invitational" Air Races. Additionally, Mr. Houghton set a poor example for his own staff and in that regard, compromised safety at the Air Races and gave the appearance that he runs his Air Races with same contempt for safety that he has shown the Law and The People. This is "Not a good thing" to do on a Federal, State- and Locally-protected (FAA, TSA, Homeland Security, BLM, Washoe County Sheriff and AAWC Airport Police), Airport environment. Especially when Mike Houghton himself, even by his own standards as applied to others, has the worst safety record in the nearly 100-year-history of Air Racing, the "World's Fastest Motorsport." The RARA Board of Directors and the AAWC (Airport Authority of Washoe County) should also be condemned as Mr. Houghton was observed to ride his ATV without mandatory protective gear between members of the Board and other Staff on the Airport environ, including, in his contacts with the Airport Manager. Apparently no one other than this Publication and the Sheriff are concerned with his misconduct, or for that matter, Mr. Houghton's personal safety. Mr. Houghton's conduct further set the bad example that a Public Figure can consider himself "outside" of or "Above the Law," and worse: ...that he considered himself as being "Cool" in doing so, resulting in the poorest example possible being set for Nevada Youth and sending the message that he (Houghton) was judged by an obvious, inequitable scale of justice, in regards to the dream of "justice for all" and contrary to the Civil Rights issue of "Equal Protection Under The Law." The Washoe County Sheriff's Office all knew differently and have acted accordingly by upholding the complaint and holding Mr. Houghton accountable to the Law. Punishment will likely be minor ~ a slap on the wrist if this is a first offense ~ however, Principle is of greater concern in correcting Mr. Houghton's conduct and Punishment is always at the discretion of a Judge and his or her Court. Silver State News and its Editor have high praise for the Washoe County Sheriff's Office tonight, the group that conducted the investigation, upheld the Principle of Law ~ armed with photographs provided by this publication ~ and whom we expect will either issue the appropriate citation and/or forward the matter to the Judiciary for processing. Clearly, the Washoe County Sheriff and his deputies remain devoted to Nevada's Youth, their safety and well-being, and are sending an important message that no one is Above the Law, especially when it comes to "Public Figures" and "Celebrities," even when the matter involves a seemingly minor traffic infraction. This one bad example set by an Adult could have resulted ~ and may yet result ~ in death or injury to a teen or child trying to emulate Mr. Houghton's Law-defying behavior in full Public View. Editorially speaking, this Publication and its Editor consider it a "good thing" that Mr. Houghton's example has not been tolerated and that a message is being sent , and we believe that Mr. Houghton should cease from these unsafe activities and desist from turning Nevada Youth against the Laws designed to protect themselves and others. Public Figures, Officials and Celebrities, need to be cognizant in regards to those of tender years, teenage years and emerging adults, who might be watching and considering the emulation of their (the Public Figures') behavior. SSNS continues it's "Stead Watch," part of its "In Stead News" reporting, which will take on new meaning this year when the Editor returns to confront Houghton and RARA over false reporting to the IRS, Fraud and other forms of Racketeering. The Editor has been seriously ill over the past four years, but during that time frame, has has made visits to Stead Airport, only to be confronted by Racketeer Houghton and his thugs, as well as unlawfully and repeatedly banned from Stead Airport during events held by RARA ~ a Non-profit 503c organization charged with maintaining Open Public Records. The latter is something RARA has refused to do, to the point of unlawfully arresting this Editor on false charges during his attempts to view the Public Record, and utilizing its personnel ~ including President & CEO Houghton and former Deputy Police Chief Tom Robinson ~ for the purpose of false arrest in violation (Under Color of Authority) of this Editor's Civil Rights. Robinson's conduct has also been reprehensible as the Security Director for RARA, holding a major conflict of interest between his Police, RARA and Air Guard duties, committing perjury in an attempt to seal a minor conviction ~ a conviction that is still subject to Civil Rights Action ~ and himself turning his head the other way at Houghton's misconduct, even going as far as to aide and abet misconduct by Houghton, RARA and its Board of Directors, of which Robinson is a member, and participating in misconduct in defiance of his sworn oaths (Police, Air Guard). A New and Dangerous Change to the Rules of Competition at the faux Reno Air Races Houghton Implements Rule Change that Allows Non-Racing Class Members to Compete; Racing Classes Usurped by Houghton Over Funds, Rules, Regulations, Safety and Protocol. ~~~~~~~~~~ "Participation in the 2007 National Championship Air Races" ____________________ "1. C The Reno Air Racing Association recognizes existing class rules of qualification and eligibility for all racing classes. However, you need not be a member of any racing class organization to compete at Reno." ~~~~~~~~~~ Well, there you have it folks. A bit of an oxymoron, but none the less, Mike Houghton has just taken away the power your Class possesses to exist, let alone, have control over who flies and who doesn't fly at the Reno Air Races. Not that it matters that much since the "Reno Air Races" aren't a real Air Race in the first place, are only an "Entertainment" event, are fixed races that are only "Invitational" in nature, and as a whole, do not match the caliber of an actual sporting, motorsporting or athletic event ~ particularly a National Championship competition ~ such as we have seen at the Superbowl, World Series or NCAA Championship Series. All out competition, in other words. "...you need not be a member of any racing class organization to compete at Reno." Why do they bother to form Classes anymore? What good is an Air Race or any other competitive event that would allow too great a disparity to occur within a competition and between the competitors in said competition? If you're not a member of a Racing Class, you're not required to abide by their rules. You don't have to pay their fees. You don't even have to race their style of aircraft. More importantly, you get to race in their "Class" event without having to pay fees to the Class, meaning, the Class gains no real benefit from the participation of a non-paying, non-member, and is thus usurped in its power to control the rules, regulations, eligibility requirements and negotiations with event organizer RARA, that a united membership gains when all funds and all efforts are directed towards the good of the Class, or the "best interests of the Society." Twenty guys in P-51s can call themselves Sport Class racers, outqualify actual Sport Class competitors, and race for the Gold in the Sport Class under such an obscure and vague rule as that implemented by Houghton and RARA. In other words, you can change or even violate the rules of the Class, especially since you're not a member and Class requirements therefore do not apply to you. Houghton and RARA recognize your Class rules and all that, but the competitors don't and the competitors wind up overuling the Class while Houghton and RARA stand by and put their hands up in the air, as if saying: "Well, what are we to do?" All a pilot has to do is "meet" the aircraft and pilot eligibility standards of your Class. Doesn't say anything in regards to them specifically racing in accordance with Class rules. Mostly, it just cuts off membership funding to the Class, weakening the Class and giving RARA control, perhaps even ousting the Class when enough pilots participate, that the Class can be declared Unlimited and any and all allowed to race under its name and banner, without paying membership fees to the Class, but while paying entry fees to RARA. Houghton's continuing attempt to gain control over Air Racing and the Classes stand idly by while he pulls this nonsense. Time for a General Strike! Time for Air Racing and its Classes to stand up for themselves, protect the integrity of the Classes, and put down this midget Napoleon (Houghton) who thinks he can just trample the rights of others, along with the established histories and traditions of the Air Racing Classes. This attempt threatens all Classes. This attempt threatens to end their existence as well as the records set under Class standards. This attempt directly threatens the existence of rules, regulations and protocols. This attempt if successful, will wipe out all records and all "record" of a Class and upset the balance of equitability in competition at all future events, not just Reno, beginning this September, 2007. Wake up, Air Racing. Houghton has just made your Classes "Wide Open" for takeover by outside elements, which he may control. Wake up, before it's too late. Also, which of the Class Presidents allowed the imposition of this Rule? That is a question Air Racing needs to be asking itself this morning, June 16, 2007. Were any even consulted? Yeah, looks like Houghton definitely got someone he could work with, after manipulating the removal of IF1's true President (Ray Sherwood) from the scene, as Houghton has now cut $20,000 of the purse from IF1. $10,000 is to go into Houghton's/RARA's "Unanticipated Expenses" fund. "Unanticipated Expenses?" Who monitors that, other than Houghton? The Board of Directors, who are seated only to take their turn at the money teet? "Unanticipated Expenses?" ~ like those women Houghton would like to bed down at the Hilton Pylon Bar!? And can you believe that IF1 voted Birch Entriken into office "unopposed?" We here at ILIPS Group can! Who else wants to put up with Houghton and his requests to constantly "bendover" and take one in the fanny for Mike Houghton and the Reno Air Racing Association (RARA ~ Rhymes With "HAHA!") With all the Air Race Nazis running around, it's more like a scene from Mel Brooks' Tony Award-winning comedy, "The Producers," as its turned into "Springtime for Houghton" on the ramp at Stead Airport, Nevada. They're just goose-stepping left and right out there! I hear they plan to change the name of the Ramp out there but they can't decide on a name: "Poland and France" are the only names on the list! What's a paperhanger like Houghton to do!?!? And nothing but complaints these days from the Air Racers, who really have no one to blame but themselves for not initiating a strike against the Reno Air Races. Think about it ~ supposed they held an Air Race in Reno and nobody showed? Strength in Numbers, at a time when Houghton is working overtime to divide the Classes, control their Presidencies, and doing a fine job of despite the fact he's actually involved in strong-arm tactics that are nothing more or less than Racketeering. Yes, Virginia, there is a "Ramp Rat" in Reno, and he's fat, cheesy little fraud, which will make putting your boot heal down through his head even more fun if you hit him with a strike in September. You don't need a Union to strike...just don't show for this classless event that abuses the participants, the fans, the Teams, the Sponsors, the Television providers, Advertisers, etc. Go back to your grass roots. Show up in a farmer's field next to an airport that can handle Unlimited Aircraft, and hold the damend race yourself! To hell with these greedy, cheesy, sleezy, effeminate, Drama Queen, Air Race organizers and promoters. Get your pride and your dignity back in the process, and have fun in the same breath. Hold your Warlock party and serve, then drink, whatever you damned well please! Yeah, once again, it has happened and to Formula One. Formula One's turn this time. Last time around I think it was the Sport Class? Something to do with John Parker? And Houghton had control of Mike Jones, Sport Class President at that time. Still is, from what I understand... Amazing! Come one, come all to witness the death of Air Racing, and though the patient can be saved, no one is doing anything about it other than standing around as "witnesses turning their heads the other way," except for a handful of individuals who have seen the "handwriting" on the wall: that Houghton, his Board of Defectives at RARA and RARA itself, are nothing more than guys and gals with cans of spray paint who should be punished for their "Defeatti Graffitt!" Yeah, ol' Mikey H and all those traitor Generals in "Red Coat" apparell have been having too much fun kicking people while they're down. Time for Houghton to get the boot. The same with his Board of Defectives, losers all. Towards that end, the removal of guys like Birch Entriken and replacement of them with people who have the vim and vinegar to fight would go a long way. But a strike would go farther. Imagine what it was like when Houghton and RARA had to refund all those tickets after the terrorist strikes of September 11, 2001. Wouldn't that be a hoot if such a refund were to happen again? And then happen "One More Time (!)" the following year? The Reno Air Races are a dead event anyway...time to put them out of their misery, but do so with Class and Style, something that has been lacking in most of Air Racing since the year after Houghton first reared his butt-ugly head in the Sport. Let Air Racing itself kill the Reno Air Races, as Air Racing will never die, but why delay the departure of an event, a community and a group of ignorant morons (RARA and its "losership,"), from the Sport that Air Racers hold so dear? Tell Mr. $100 Million United Travel Man (Source: Rocket Racing League Biography...) that since he hasn't brought $100 Million into the "World's Fastest Motorsport" and the Air Racers' pockets ~ allowing them the funding to develop new racing aircraft and in general, just survive the expenses...) ~ that it's time he got out of the business of ruining businesses and move on to greener pastures. Like the Rocket Racing League. Because if any business really needs ending, hat corrupt fraud of an organization sure does, and Mike Houghton is the perfect man for the job. While he's at it and "them," he can take his boy toy, Birch Entriken, with him, so that IF1 can get back to showing for and competing at legitimate Motorsporting events for Reality-based. lucrative purses. Obviously, Houghton and RARA have the money. They wouldn't be holding onto $10,000 of it if they didn't, nor handing IF1's purse over to less competitive classes like Sport Biplane. In fact, they would invest the other windfall profits they posses ~ though short of Mikey Da Rat's purported United Travel figures (not!) ~ and invest anew in Sport Biplane as a nostalgia Class, as opposed to gutting IF1. Apparently, Houghton is buying new Class Presidents using the other Class' moneys, not his own. Not RARA's. And Houghton also rewards those who give up their Class or Teams' sponsors to Houghton and the Reno Air Racing Association, not with Sponsor dollars to now be earned by RARA, but rather, by the purses of other Classes who are not producing Sponsors for RARA. Does the word, "Suckers," mean anything to any of you...especially, those of you under the Presidency of Birch Entriken!? <G> Yes, IF1, we are laughing at you! And you as well in the Sport Class, who in all the time you've been competing, have failed to arrange another race beyond Reno, despite the fact, the growth of your Class was supposed to be dependent on Sport Class aircraft in existence throughout the United States. One last thing: We have learned that the slimey Mr. Houghton, greasy, Butterball Turkey ™ that he is, also took over control of the electrical power stations and specially developed RV parking area for IF1, and charged those poor bastards $50.00 per RV space in a way of thanking them for Birch Entriken's support (if being a jockstrap to Mike Houghton's genitalia equates to "support...")! Furthermore, it's anticipated that the cost may go up this year. Our source indicates that he wouldn't be surprised if IF1 were charged $150.00 per space, or triple the 2006 figure, though IF1 itself established those RV spaces and installed the electrical power supplies for them. I mean, you'd think that POS Houghton was going to make enough on the 120 kV power line deal with the Real Estate Queen of Nevada, Krys Bart (Director of the Airport Authority of Washoe County ~ AAWC), but it's just not enough! Makes you wonder whom else in other Classes are going to get hit next. I guess all you have to do, is look to the remaining Class Presidents, see who's the weakest (Jones), and you'll be able to figure that out for yourselves! In the meantime, our sources inform us that the loving relationship between Houghton and Entriken continues in court, where apparently Houghton won a small claims case based on his and Entriken's perjury, while Entriken was holding his hand and...apparently...another of Houghton's bodily organ's in his mouth. The Court wasn't much better, especially seeing as how through Racketeer and State Senate Majority Leader William "Kingpin" Raggio, Houghton currently owns the Reno Courts, right down to Small Claims level, and can perjure himself and motivate others to perjure themselves (Entriken) in legal matters where they are the perpetrators of crime and further, are getting such a kick out of being criminals! Houghton even conspired with Sierra Pacific Energy to take over the IF1 title to those RV spots and have the electric turned on in his/RARA's worthless, filthy names. Though IF1 representatives had legal title the facilities, in spite of the wanton existence of one, Birch "The Vampire" (I'll Suck You Dry!) Entriken. How long it will last is anyone's guess, but Northern Nevada, and frankly, Southern Nevada, are a joke when it comes to Attorneys, Courts and Judges. No honest man stands a chance of winning there and even the Judges profit on the little side deals that are made when it comes to Grand and other forms of theft by White Collar Criminals from honest people. Corruption does die out over time. Likely, it will take armed insurrection to cause it to die out in Nevada. One of the few States in the West with the most singular claim, once reserved for racist bureaucracies in the South: Drinking Fountains with signs attached saying: "Whites Only." Looks like Jesse Jackson was correct in his speech before the Democratic Convention. Doesn't matter now what boat you came to the United States on... ...as "We are all in the same boat now!" And it's wood planks are rotten and leaking any chance at a good life. Welcome to "The Truth," people of Air Racing! Sucks, don't it!? Sucks even worse when you realize that not one, but two successive declarations of a Strike against the Reno Air Races would put all of Air Racing back in control of their own Sport. Something Mike Houghton currently possesses, despite the fact the FAA turned down his proposal that he and RARA take over all control of Air Racing in the United States. The FAA currently has denied it, but our sources are impeccable...as is the documentation that exists. We are keeping the pressure on to get to the truth. ~~~~~~~~~~ Update (02/12/2008): According to Ray Sherwood, former President of IF1, Birch Entriken has sold his racer and resigned from IF1. Likewise, David Hoover and Gary Dalleske have done the same. Scotty Crandlemire's racer is still for sale and Crandlemire remains a part of IF1 for the time being. |
FYI ™ The Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) doesn't pay for outside advertising of the Reno Air Races, thus cutting down profits and purses to an event that Houghton has already announced he, RARA and the Airport Authority of Washoe County (AAWC) will be ending. Houghton claims that the cost of such advertising are the issue. The Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) however, is a 503(c) Non-profit. As such, they are entitled to Public Service Announcements (PSAs) at no charge. Even in neighboring States and the surrounding U.S. Western area (California, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, New Mexico, et al)... So, where are the imaginary savings going, since Houghton and RARA's "expensive" excuse doesn't fly? Two Rules from Mel Brooks' Broadway Show & Movie, "The Producers:" 1) Never invest your own money in your own play; and 2)...(SCREAMING): NEVER INVEST YOUR OWN MONEY IN YOUR OWN PLAY! |
